CGR: ROCK BAND 3 Demo preview from E3 2010
Classic Game Room talks about the Rock Band 3 demo from E3 2010 and talks about what experienced musicians can expect with the new game from Harmoix. This is a look back at the MTV Games booth where 7 people played Rock Band 3 for a demonstration. They used a keyboard (keytaur!), two backup singers, lead vocal, drums, guitar and bass. The one guitarist played a REAL guitar with Rock Band 3 and was scored in the game on Rock Band 3 Pro mode (Rock Band 3 professional mode). The game will have some accessories that support MIDI so that you can use other guitars and keyboards. Available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 PS3.

@Xsult59 plus the real guitar is going to have a trainer and easy – expert. so if u are interested in learning guitar here u go!! I can already play so this is good news for me to get better!
@coopmister00 I just think people are going to learn one song and then think they can play, and that’s true because that’s what i thought when i was learning, “i can play Holy Diver HOLY SHIT I AM AWESOME” *embarrassment*
@Xsult59 yea i was like that wen i learned tnt lol
My only worrie is the setlist.
@Xsult59 well, im getting this because of pro mode, im 15 and i want to learn how to play gutiar, This will really help me.
@angeriod Just go enroll in a class in the summer, i really think this game is not going to teach you, its just trying to appeal to people who play guitar, even if you learn threw this game, you are probably gone learn only half of what you could of learned with a teacher, please, just learn guitar the right way, this game is probably only going to teach you chords and that’s it, no transcribing tips, how to pick out a guitar, alternative picking, nothing. This is just a game.
@Xsult59 Lol, yea im gonna get a teacher to help me too. im getting this because its gonna be fun.
@angeriod That’s good, i probably will get this game just for when my friend come over.
@Xsult59 From what I’ve heard RB3′s pro mode is sticking as close as possible to the songs actual tablature so that when you play you are playing exactly what was played in the song. I think the only part that could cripple some players is not learning how to tune the guitar or eventually relying too much on the charts so that if they ever tried to play something without the game they wouldn’t know what to play. But I’m excited for it, i suck at shifting from chords to chords so maybe it canhelp
@gizmothedog I am just worried that someone will learn one song and eventually think he/she can play guitar, plus the way to not suck at chord changes is practice, and find out when you can use a anchor(or how ever you spell that) finger, but yes this game might help on that aspect.
Lol I love this guy’s voice and analogies.
I saw the whole setlist and its awsome, so much better than i thought. Theirs like 5 songs that arnt that good but have good piano tho
woo pro guitar the beast and the harlot should be insane
4 characters on stage?? feels like fucked up…
@AssasinatorCB tell me about it, its gonna be hard to get that solo
@tmg331 its easy if you play real guitar or keyboard or bass or drums like me… but that’s me. you don’t have to do pro mode
@konio83 the real guitar is a stringed controller. On Amazon for £70
haha this guys hillarious
Rock Band 3 coming out… TOMORROW!!
Are you stroking? … you sound like you are having a stroke … just sayin’
in the beginning, it has 5 instruments?
@poptheman1 Keyboard, Drums, Pro Guitar, Pro Bass (you use the pro guitar but bottom 4 strings) and 3 Singers (1 lead, 2 Harmonies)
@poptheman1 Keyboard, Drums, Pro Guitar, Pro Bass (you use the pro guitar but bottom 4 strings) and 3 Singers (1 lead, 2 Harmonies) 1 major bad point is though, only 4 poeple are EVER seen on the stage, even if you have 7 poeple playing.
Loved the game but could never have progressed without videogamestrategyguides (.) net
go fuck yourself…RB3 kicks ass!
