…That is still present with the XIMs. The mouse is emulating the joystick and is forced to work within the exact same look mechanic, making the “mouse is faster” argument technically incorrect. Someone may be able to manipulate a mouse better than they can a joystick, but that’s an issue with the gamepad as a HID and not something any more enforceable than is banning people who play better with their toes.
Is this only available via Online ordering? Or is it possible to buy this off the shelf of a place like best buy?

@GLoiroG It is not a cheat device as much as a headset is a cheat device. Microsoft cannot ban you for this since this isn’t detectable. A person with a controller may kill a person with an XIM3 sometimes, and it’s simply used to feel more comfortable. Trust me, I’ve been using this for awhile and it’s great! It’s a lot more comfortable than a controller.

Has anyone here tried this with a trackball? I have just a normal 2 button, non-gaming LogiTech trackball and I hope I don’t have any issues when it gets here xD

I’m using a XIM3 for my PS3, and it is FLAWLESS. Yes, it is the best 1:1 adapter out there.
However, it’s fairly expensive.

@zstar69 Honestly. I have only seen ONE single hacker since i purchased my Mw3 3 weeks ago. And that is the truth. There is an average of 70.000 players on mw3 online 24/7, that imo is more than enough.
@juanelbobo1 Of course, the taste is like your butt, seperated. But I myself find mouse and keyboard easier and more comfortable, hence you have imo a better accuracy with a mouse instead of a joystick.

Yes. As far as compatibility is concerned, the XIM3 is a wired 360 controller with the security identification of whatever wired gamepad is attached.
