First on our list of the best five games of 2012 is Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. It is the fourth installment of the Sly Cooper series, and continues right where the third left off. It is currently only to be made in production for the PlayStation, making it yet another game that only PS3 owners will be able to enjoy. This game will be very similar to the rest of the franchise in game play, but with much better graphics and more rich story line. This game will no doubt prove to be a successful installment of the wonderful series, and is highly anticipated by people all over the world.
The next game on our list is Twisted Metal. Originally intended for a 2011 release date, this game has had a loyal following tracking it’s progress for quite a while. It is the eighth part of an ongoing series that has not slowed down at all since appearing over a decade ago. It follows a simple story line of using vehicles to cause mayhem and compete in battles with other contestants. The arrival of this game will have a mighty impact on gaming, and will certainly make 2012 a memorable year for gamers.

It is a direct sequel to the original Prototype that appeared in 2009, and goes above and beyond the expectations set for it. Set 14 months after Prototype, you play as James Heller, a man similar to Alex Mercer, of the first game. However, there are a few new tricks up this game’s sleeve, guaranteeing it a worthy buy for anybody looking to get a game filled with excitement and adventure.. Grand Theft Auto V is the number one game of 2012 for many people, patiently waiting for it’s arrival date to inch closer and closer. The first Grand Theft Auto game to be released in a few years, It takes place in Los Santos, which is quite a familiar place for Grand Theft Auto fans. Production for this game began immediately after The previous game, Grand Theft Auto 4, was released. It has been in production for 4 years. It is still undecided when this game will fully be released to the public, but at this point in time it is very safe to assume it will be out before the year is finished. I can guess that it will be a frenzy out there at the midnight release of this one.
For many years, fans on Men In Black were forced a life without any game based off the movie that was worth playing. This year, all of that changes. Men In Black: The Video Game has been a possibility for many years, but only recently came out into the light, and became a reality. Featuring many of the familiar faces that you are aware of from the franchise, and a ton of new faces that you’ve never seen, as well. It was made to be released right around the time that Men In Black 3 hits theaters, each using the other as a marketing tool. This is one game that you won’t want to miss out on, that’s for sure. Overall, 2012 is a very good year for PS3 gamers. These five games shared are only the tip of the iceberg for what’s in store these coming months and years. It would take literally forever to fully and truly describe all the great things happening in the video gaming industry, but the best way to find out is to go out and experience it.
